New Hope supports the growing work of Jesu El Buen Pastor in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico (near Cancun). This is a very exciting and dynamic project. Abelardo Pech is the minister and his wife, Sindy, and 15 month old daughter, Nimsi. The Family lives on the grounds of the church. The church building is several year old, but still has no windows or doors. They currently have about 75 children and adults attending on a regular basis.

New Hope supports this effort by helping Jesu El Buen Pastor in their building project, conduct of their yearly vacation Bible school and other support as needed. We hope to be able to help them in a painting project, putting in doors and windows, and laying the tile floor in the near future. Our church also pays a portion of the Pastor’s salary.

The Indianapolis Hispanic Social Ministry is another activity New Hope is helping. This project, organized with our Presbytery, is just getting started and needs much support to provide necessary services to our growing Hispanic culture.

The Mexico mission could use your help. Whether willing to work locally or travel to Mexico occasionally to help, we can use you. Come help us with our only, and much loved, international ministry.
