New Hope families continue to be active participants in Habitat for Humanity. They help to build houses in Hamilton County for families who seriously need affordable housing. Approximately 300 hours were given last year by some 50 New Hope volunteers to this program.

The interesting thing about this program is that nearly all the volunteers are unskilled. There is so much work to be done that does not involve building-skills on these jobs that our volunteers are always kept busy doing very necessary but unskilled work.

Come give us a Saturday or two, You’ll find it interesting, fun and rewarding to help complete a house for someone.
